Requirements.

1. General Education Requirements .
2. Biology (30 credits).
   BIO 111 ,  BIO 113 , BIO 326 , BIO 328 , BIO 425 , BIO 435 , BIO 439 , BIO 450 .
3. Chemistry (15-18 credits).
   CHM 260 , CHM 261 , CHM 262 , CHM 263 , CHM 330 , CHM 331 ; CHM 332 , CHM 333  or 3-6 additional credits in upper level chemistry.
4. Clinical laboratory science (10-11 credits).
   MTP 201 , MTP 301 , MTP 302 , MTP 401 ; 2-3 additional credits in MTP courses.
5. Computer science (4 credits). CSC and/or CIS courses. 
6. Electives to complete a total of 124 credits.
7. A cumulative grade point average of at least 2.7.
8. Medical terminology, statistics and critical thinking courses are recommended. Other courses relevant to the major include BIO 432 , BIO 438  , BIO 467  ; MTP 394 , MTP 395 ; HCR 300 ; BIO 167 , BIO 168 .
   
   *Note: Completion of BIO 327  and the program requirements qualifies a student to declare a minor in biology as well as a major in clinical laboratory science.
