Academic Advising
At the Academic Advising and Career Center, a full staff of professionally trained academic advisors, career counselors, and support staff stand ready to serve the unique needs of our students, alumni, employers, family members, faculty, and staff. Our advising and career philosophies are rooted in both developmental advising theory and strengths-based counseling.
The Academic Advising Center helps students to develop their schedule and register for classes. For most Freshman students this process is done during their Orientation session.
The Academic Advising and Career Center is open Monday thru Thursday 8:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. and Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Transfer students and others may schedule an appointment with an advisor. The office also accepts walk-ins.
