At University of Michigan-Flint, we want you to be successful, both inside and outside the classroom. That’s why we offer many student services to help you get the most out of your experience here. Here’s a rundown of a few of the resources available to you:
- Student Development Center: is where you can usually find our students hanging out between classes, catching up with their friends or delving into some homework. We make it convenient for you—this is also where you’ll find the campus counselor, the Academic Enrichment Center, and Accessibility Services.
- Women’s Education Center: serves as a resource to empower women by providing resources, services, programs, and research that address a diverse range of needs, interests, and concerns.
- Educational Opportunity Initiatives: serves to support underrepresented populations through several beneficial programs such as Bridges to Success, Choosing to Succeed, Challenge Program, Incentive Scholarship Program, Kings-Chavez-Parks College Day Program, Interracial Communication Project, Transition and Support Services, and Diversity Education Services.
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Center of University of Michigan-Flint provides services and programming to assist all members of the University of Michigan-Flint community in developing awareness of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender concerns.
- Early Childhood Development Center: If your a parent, then this center will be of great service to you. The Center provides childcare services to University students, faculty, staff, and members of the local community.
- Bookstore: Need to pick up your textbooks for class? Looking to show your school spirit with a University of Michigan-Flint tee? Visit the bookstore right here on campus for all your needs.
