Transfer Guidelines

To transfer to the University of Michigan-Flint, you will need to complete the following steps and meet the stated guidelines:

  • Submit a completed application along with your $30 application fee.
  • Submit transcripts from all prior post-secondary schools.  If you have completed fewer than 12 college credits, submit your High School transcripts.
  • You must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0.
  • You will only receive transfer credit for courses taken at regionally accredited institutions in which you received a grade of “C” or better .
