Visit our campus this summer and see what it's like to be a college student at UM-Flint in one of the most vibrant college towns anywhere.

These events are for high school students attending 10th-12th grades in Fall 2013.

Day Session: 10am to 2pm
Location:  Harding Mott University Center (UCEN)

Your day will include a tour of the campus and downtown, led by a current UM-Flint student.  You will hear about unique experiences like participating in research or learning in the community and have an opportunity to talk with faculty about classes and majors.

Lunch will be provided.  Family members are invited with a limit of four (4) per student.

Come for just the day session or stay for the special Overnight Session.  Stay in our residence hall and enjoy special activities designed to give you a true college experience!

Students and their families will attend the day session, and then students will stay overnight for conversation and activities in our residence hall.  We will make every effort to put students with friends who are also registered for the overnight session.  All RSVPs will receive a packet of information, including, what to bring, an agenda of student activities, a waiver form (to be returned prior to the event), and hotel information for parents who wish to stay overnight.

10:30-12:00 – Tour of campus
12:00-1:30 – Lunch in the lawn of First Street (with Faculty, Students, Staff)
1:00-1:30 – Residence Hall Orientation
1:30-2:30 – Settle in and move in
2:30-3:00 – Ice Breaker in the tent
3:00-4:00 – Academic Advising and Career Center
4:00-5:00 – Student Life Presentation
5:00-6:00 – Residence Hall Activity
6:00-9:00 – Downtown Dinner
9:00-10:00 – Recreation Center
10:00-12:00 – Residence Hall Activities

9:00-10:00 – Writing Workshop – Classroom
10:00-10:30 – Activity
10:30-11:30 – Financial Aid Presentation – Happenings Room (Parents Welcome)
