1.  Login to your UM-Flint Webmail account

  • Access Webmail at http://www.umflint.edu/ under the QuickLinks menu (top right of page)
  • Username is your Uniqname
  • Password is your LAN Password

    If you do not know your LAN Password, click here.


2.  Login to your Blackboard account and complete your online placement exams

  • Access Blackboard at http://www.umflint.edu/ under the QuickLinks menu (top right of page)
  • Username is your Uniqname
  • Password is your LAN Password

3.  Meet with your advisor and register for classes.

  • Please contact the Academic Advising and Career Center (AACC) at (810) 762-3085 or advising@umflint.edu after you have completed your placement exams to schedule an appointment with your academic advisor/counselor.

4.  Attend Orientation


5.  Attend the New Student Welcome Event Tuesday, August 26, 2008
