During orientation, you will discuss UM-Flint with currently enrolled students, learn strategies to being successful in the university environment, and become orientated to your new surroundings. We will review policies and procedures unique to UM-Flint including graduation requirements and much more. Before orientation is over, you will plan your fall schedule with the help of an academic advisor and register for your fall courses. There is a $60 orientation fee which will be added to your tuition bill*.

All first-year students are required to attend orientation to register for classes. Students must be present for the entire session. Orientation begins at 10:30am and concludes at 7:30pm. Parents are invited to join orientation at 4:30pm.
