Alumni Society

As a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint, you are automatically a member of the UM-Flint Alumni Society. The purpose of the Alumni Society is to develop and maintain a knowledgeable and involved alumni constituency dedicated to the well-being of the University. Alumni provide their alma mater with advice, recruitment of students, financial and ambassadorial support. There is no substitute for the vision and leadership of organized and involved alumni. The Society's programs are geared to capture, maintain and strengthen the good will of UM-Flint alumni to serve as a positive force for the campus. Your Michigan degree is one of your permanent assets, growing in value with the reputation of the University.
You can support your campus through:
- Support the Alumni Scholarship for Excellence
- Alumni volunteer assistance in student recruitment
- Programs that bring alumni back to campus
- Alumni advocacy for support of higher education by the Michigan Legislature
- Colleges and Schools alumni programming
Membership in the UM-Flint Alumni Society is FREE!
In fact, you are invited to get more involved with the society by joining the Board of Governors. The board brainstorms activities, represents alumni at campus events, fundraises for the UM-Flint Alumni Society Scholarship Award, serves as an advisory group for campus issues, and selects alumni for prestigious UM-Flint awards.
