The University of Michigan Club of Greater Flint is your local connection to the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan (AAUM). As a member of both the AAUM and the M Club of Greater Flint, you can enjoy the club's annual programming, including bus trips to sporting events, football pep rallies, Camp Michigania, an excellent lecture series, and the annual golf and dinner outing at Atlas Valley Country Club. These are outstanding events for networking, seeing old friends, meeting new Wolverine fans, and great social getaways. As a member of the M Club of Greater Flint, you'll also enjoy networking with fellow alumni of the greatest university, The University of Michigan.


Mission Statement

The University of Michigan Club of Greater Flint is an affiliate of, and chartered by, the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan (AAUM), an educational, non-profit membership organization of graduates and friends of the University of Michigan . Together, the club and AAUM promote programs and services that bring alumni together in support of each other and all campuses of the University of Michigan.

Purpose Statement

The M Club of Greater Flint promotes the following goals, independently of and through cooperation with the University of Michigan (the "University") and the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan ("AAUM").   

• Foster a spirit of loyalty and fraternity among the graduate, current, and former students of the University of Michigan.
• Effect united action in promoting the general welfare of the University as an educational institution.
• Act as a liaison between prospective students of the University of Michigan in secondary schools of the Greater Flint area and students of the University.
• Provide funding and other support of scholarships to current, prospective and admitted students of the University of Michigan from the Greater Flint area.
• Sponsor and support social, educational, and charitable programs and activities for alumni of the University, and their families and friends in the Greater Flint area.

How do I become a member of the U-M Club of Greater Flint?

All members of the U-M Alumni Association residing in Genesee County are members of the U-M Club of Greater Flint and are welcome to participate in any of the activities.

Any person who shall be approved by the Board of Directors to have been a friend to the U-M Club of Greater Flint may become an associate member.
