Professor Lotfi received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering, M.S. and Ph.D. in Operations Research from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a Professor of Management Science in the School of Management. Prior to his current appoint he served as the Executive Director of Information Technology Services at UM-Flint from 1996 to 2001. His current research interests involve multiple criteria decision making. Dr. Lotfi has published numerous research articles and has co-authored five books in the area of management science and operations management. He has presented in many national and international conferences and also serves on the editorial board of two scholarly journals.
