Membership

The Eta-Xi Chapter initiates new members each fall and winter semester. To be considered for membership, a student must:

	Have an overall GPA of 3.0
	Have an accounting or finance GPA of 3.0
	Have completed one upper-level accounting or finance course (BUS 321 for accounting majors, 361 for finance majors)

Once initiated, a member must do the following each semester:

	Attend at least 4 professional meetings
	Complete at least 7 hours of volunteer work, of which at least 4 must be from a Beta Alpha Psi sponsored activity.
	Maintain at least a 3.0 in the upper level courses of your concentration.

In addition, each member must attend one social event per academic year (If you are initiated in the term that you are graduating you must attend the social that term).
