Fanimania - The University of Michigan-Flint's Anime Club

Welcome to the Fanimania web site! We are a club at the University of Michigan-Flint that tries to increase awareness of Japanese animation amongst students and the public.

Next Club Meeting: Wednesday, March 5, 2009 (tentative) from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Ontario Room/Student Organization Center in the UCEN (1st floor).
At club meetings the upcoming showing is discussed and various other club business is taken care of. There is also time for socialization. Suggestions are always welcome.

Next Anime Showing: Thursday, Feburary 25, 2009 from 4 PM to 10 PM in the KIVA Room of the UCEN (1st floor, near the Mill St. entrance).

Showings usually last eight hours and are suited for all audiences unless otherwise noted. Usually only a few episodes of a single series is shown, but there is often a series that continues from the previous showing. Anime is often chosen from several genres.

Previous Events

Ohayocon 2009! (website) Only those who have attended at least three Fanimania events during Fall semester, and have attended an Ohayocon meeting, can travel with the club. The pre-registration deadline is January 10th.
Ohayocon Fundraiser. Do you have books, movies, manga, etc. that you want to get rid of? On January 10th & 14th on the 2nd floor of the UCEN, Jessica and Katie will be there to take everything off your hands. They're working around their class schedules so the times are 2-2:20pm and 5:20-6pm. If these times are bad for you, e-mail Katie and she'll try to work something out.
