Preface:
Welcome to the Pre-Physical Therapy Club web site!
Are you interested in becoming a Physical Therapist?
Want to learn more about the profession? Then this club is for you! The
purpose of the Pre-PT Club is to provide experiences and opportunities for
undergraduate students interested in a career in Physical Therapy to learn
more about the discipline. The events planned will enhance your knowledge
about the field and its various components.
We plan events to explore the different aspects of
Physical Therapy. Events may include, but are not limited to: tours of
local Physical Therapy Clinics, guest speakers to lecture on topics related
to the field, meeting current graduate Physical Therapy students, and more.
Some events are physical therapy based and some are
not. We enjoy doing fundraisers for local charities, volunteer work, and
other activities. Being a member in the club is fun and you will meet other
students who have similar interests and goals. These students may currently
be your classmates or even classmates upon acceptance into the program.
Spread the word! If you are a member of the Pre-PT
Club and have friends who are not, let them know about the meetings.
Membership is free and is limited to UM-Flint undergraduate students in good
academic standing.
