The University of Michigan-Flint’s most prestigious academic ceremony is the bi-annual Commencement Ceremony. Twice a year, students, faculty, and staff along with the families and friends of the graduates gather to celebrate this important ritual. Achieving a degree from the University of Michigan is an outstanding accomplishment, and one that lasts a lifetime.

The Spring 2013 Commencement Ceremonies will be held on Sunday, May 5.

The University of Michigan-Flint is proud to offer a live simulcast of the Spring 2013 Commencement Ceremonies on May 5. You'll find links to the online event on the UM-Flint website that day, and it will be shared by the university's Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Commencement Extras

On the lower level of Perani Arena, graduates will find:

  • A cookie and punch reception for graduates and faculty only prior to the ceremony
  • Photo booth at the reception for graduates
