Jennifer Phillips, BAS

Administrative Assistant Intermediate

Jennifer (Jenny) Phillips is primarily responsible for assisting the departments of Communication and Art & Art History in the areas of general office administration, public relations, and advising support.  Additionally, she offers support to the departments of Theater & Dance, History, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, and Music.  Her university experience includes course scheduling, travel and event planning, posting temporary jobs, assisting in hiring procedures, purchase orders, reimbursements, budget reconciling, and website updates. Jenny earned her BAS degree with a minor in Economics at UM-Flint.  She also holds dual AAS degrees from Mott Community College in Accounting and Business Management.  Prior to joining UM-Flint in 2011, Jenny worked for 11 years as an entrepreneur who owned and managed a small business.
