Student Responsibilities

Maintain a 2.750 grade point average (gpa) overall, in your major/minor subject areas, and in your education (EDU) classes.

Understand your program (i.e. special grade requirements, prerequisites, sequencing of courses).

Check your e-mail on the university system for updates and messages regarding education announcements, as well as the bulletin board outside the Education Department for any new announcements.

Check the Announcements on the department's homepage online for the latest information on all programs, meetings, etc.

Plan your class schedules and register on time!

Attend advising meetings ( i.e. newly admitted education student meetings, student teaching meetings, your academic advising appointments.)

Know your deadline dates!
Admission to the program (Applications accepted in January & September)
Student Teaching Applications/Student Teacher Meetings
Basic Skills and Subject Area Testing through MTTC
Registration
Drop/Add deadlines
Applying for audit/graduation
