Physical therapy is a growing health care profession that provides opportunity for autonomy in your patients' care, flexibility in choosing a practice setting or specialty (e.g. acute care, outpatient care, home health, private practice), and the environment to interact with people where you can improve their physical performance and ability to function independently. Whether you are a high school student at the beginning of a career search or someone already on the path to a health care career, we're glad you are interested in the profession of physical therapy. You can be part of a respected health care profession dedicated to examining, treating, and preventing physical disabilities as well as promote fitness, health, and quality of life for people of all ages.
