Earth Day in Riverview
We hosted an Earth Day Celebration on April 22 in recognition of our special planet!
Students enjoyed Rib Night on Thursday, April 11, receiving a delicious plate
of ribs for only an extra $5.
Our very own Ella Ocampo brought UM-Flint the Taste of the Philippines on
March 28 in the Riverview Dining Room.
Hot Dog Day
We celebrated Hot Dog Day on March 26, featuring Flint's own Koegel hot dogs!
To get an early taste of summer, guests enjoyed their summer favorites & fun activities at the Beach Party
on March 20.
St. Patrick's Day Meal
In belated celebration of St. Patrick's Day, we served corned beef & cabbage on Monday, March 18.
UM-Flint was treated to delicious Lebanese cuisine cooked by our very own Diane Massad in the Riverview Dining
Room for lunch on March 13.
On February 28, we brought campus Shrimp Night for only an extra $5 for a tasty meal.
RA Hosted Dinner
First Street Residence Hall Resident Advisors hosted a dinner for all students on February 21 in the
Riverview Dining Room, including karoake and games!
Our very own Diane Massad treated students, staff, & faculty to a delicious Lebanese-inspired meal on Wednesday,
February 20 during lunch.
Mardi Gras Party
Students celebrated Mardi Gras with us in the Riverview Dining Room on Tuesday, February 12 with tasty cajun meals!
National Puzzle Day
Students had the chance to build puzzles during lunch and dinner in Riverview to celebrate National Puzzle
Day on January 29.
National Kazoo Day
To celebrate National Kazoo Day on Monday, January 28, the first 50 guests to the Riverview Dining Room
received a FREE kazoo!
Similar to Steak Night, for just an extra $4, guests received a delicious plate of ribs during dinner in the Riverview
Dining Room on Thursday, January 24.
National Pie Day
Students voted from January 7-11 for their favorite pies and the winning dishes were presented in the Riverview Dining
Room on Wednesday, January 23 to celebrate National Pie Day!
Through the months of November and December, students, staff, & faculty lended a helping hand with Dining Services as we
collected non-perishables for families in need. Through donations collected at Grill 155, proceeds went toward the university-wide
competition against the other Flint colleges & universities to see which campus could raise the most poundage. Through your
generous donations, we raised more than $1600!

Chef Joseph McCullough treated students to a tasty meal on December 4.
For an extra $5, students got to enjoy a freshly cooked NY Strip on December 12.
Dining Services partnered up with First Street Residence Hall RA Dani Godin to get ready for Halloween with a pumpkin
carving event at the end of October.
