EBS has a limited supply of easels available for check-out; the supply must satisfy the needs of the campus for displays in various buildings on campus as well as use in reserved spaces.  Please note below the amount of easels available, where they can be used, and the method by which student clubs/organizations are able to secure use of the easels.

  • There are 10 gray, plastic easels available to the campus for check-out
  • Easels will be available for check-out to student clubs/organizations, faculty, and staff for the primary purpose of displays.  Due to limited quantities, the easels will be assigned on a first-come, first-served, basis.
  • Easels are reserved in EBS, Room 176 UCEN.
  • Due to the limited number of easels:
  • 2 easels per reservation/person (for use in UCEN/FH/Library/UPAV combination)
  • 1 easel per reservation/person for WSW
  • Maximum allowable use: 2 weeks (14 days – including weekends)
  • When reserving an easel, the exact use location must be provided
  • All student orgs/departments (faculty/staff) must provide a chartfield or shortcode when reserving a display easel.
  • There is a $25 late fee for easels not returned by close of business (5p) on the 14th day.  If the due date occurs on a weekend, then the next business day will become the due date. In addition, if the easel is not returned to EBS by the 18th day after checkout, EBS will assume the easel has been lost and the replacement cost of the easel will be charged to the group/club or department.
  • There are additional easels available at WSW and NBC for checkout with the required chartfield. If an easel is reserved for WSW, a printed copy of the confirmation must be presented to the Information Desk clerk at WSW when picking up the easel.  The easel used in WSW is returned to the WSW Information Desk at the end of the reservation.
