Event Rate Definitions
iNTERNAL EVENT RATES

Recognized student organizations and University departments may schedule and use space free of charge if ALL of the following criteria are met:

  • The University department or recognized student organization is the sole sponsor and host of the event.
  • There is no revenue generated or fees involved OR when ALL revenue is donated to one or more scholarships or charities OR the event is a fundraiser where all revenue goes to the recognized student organization.
  • The event will support the mission of the University department or recognized student organization.
  • The event is not held in the NBC Grand Ballroom or Riverfront Rooms, there are rental fees for both of these buildings.

When using NBC Grand Ballroom and/or Riverfront Rooms and all of the above conditions are met there is a room rental fee.  Contact Event and Building Services for a price quote and space availability.

Equipment Delivery Policy:

EBS will deliver up to five tables and 40 chairs to campus locations that are not under the purview of the department. Any additional equipment requests beyond that amount will be charged.

One-time Departmental Fee Exception for Professional Organizations: 
A department is allowed a one-time fee exception per fiscal year to host a professional organization of which at least one member of the department belongs to for the benefit of the university. For instance, the exception would apply in the case of a statewide organization of Admissions or Financial Aid Officers.
 
ExternAL EVENT RATES

A 10% discount applies to room rentals for multiple day usage and/or multiple room usage.  Additional fees may apply for events beyond regular business hours.  Contact Event & Building Services for a price quote and space availability.
