Extremely cold temperatures continue to linger around Michigan.  As most Michigan residents know, it is important to dress appropriately for this type of weather, keeping your home sufficiently heated, and being prepared when traveling in your vehicle.

To assist you in protecting yourself, family, and pets, attached is information from Genesee County Health Department and Oakland County Health Department on what precautions to take in the extreme cold temperatures as well as the signs & symptoms of hypothermia and frostbite.
