To register for a capstone course, please submit an application form.
On the rare occasions that capstone substitution becomes necessary, it must be initiated through this form.
Portfolios are due by the last day of finals of your last semester. Guidelines are provided on each program page.
Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC)
Secondary education students can prepare for the MTTC Basic Skills test and English subject test by reviewing the test objects and online study guides. Practice tests are also available for purchase.
To gain research experience with faculty members both within and outside of the English Department, consider applying for an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP).
