2nd Annual Youth Summit Overview

Held at St. John Vianney Catholic School, 2319 Bagley Street, Flint, Michigan 48504

 

The purpose of the Youth Summit:

The aim of the summit is to educate and inform participants of some best practices and devise strategies that will assist students in overcoming challenges and obstacles which may interfere with their overall success. The goal is to help develop leadership and coping skills, positive attitudes, and hope for the future.  This event is a collaborative effort among youth and many local organizations that will offer youth an avenue to solve problems relevant to their communities, and be advocates of change.

Who Should Attend?

The 2nd Annual Youth Summit is open for all Genesee County youth attending middle school and high school! The 2-day event includes educational breakout sessions on Friday, and a party celebration for participating students on Saturday. The Saturday party celebration will consist of a dance and light snacks but ONLY for students that participated in the forum the previous day. There is No Charge for attending but you must RSVP for this event.
