Veterans Information
First Time Veterans at UM-Flint:
- Students intending to use their Veterans Educational Benefits must contact the Veteran's Certifying Official in the Registrar's Office in order to initiate the process of using your benefits at UM-Flint.
- Students must provide the the Office of Financial Aid documentation of the benefit type, monthly amount, and date the benefits must be used by when first utilizing their Veterans Educational Benefits. Please see an example of the documentation at the right.
All Veterans
- Must certify their enrollment with the Registrar’s Office each semester they will be using their benefits.
- Students receiving Veterans Educational Benefits must report their benefit amounts on the FAFSA.
