Yener Kandogan gave an update on the proposed General Education Curriculum Advisory Committee (GECAC) that is currently being proposed. He reported that both AAAC and Faculty Council have endorsed the idea of such a committee.
Given the small number of faculty; discussion ensued regarding various issues of general education and did not focus on a specific topic. It was more of an informal discussion between colleagues on a variety of issues. Also, due to the conversational manner, the session was not video taped.
