Project Description: The Urban Health and Wellness Center Practicum provides an opportunity for a health education student to work as an interdisciplinary team with UHWC staff including Nurse Practitioners, Physical Therapists, nursing and physical therapy students in prevention and treatment plans for patients utilizing the center for care.
Semesters Desired: Fall 2009; Winter 2010
GSRA Position Description: The student would be responsible for working with the Director of Community Health and Wellness and the interdisciplinary team in the development and implementation of health education and promotion programs for the UHWC, the campus and Flint communities.
Specific Day/Time Requirements: Will work with student schedule.
