Computer Science and Information Systems - Cyber Classroom
Our program offers a truly unique and exciting educational experience through our newly developed multi-media cyber-classroom, which captures the entire classroom experience through an advanced robotic audio-video recording system. The system processes multiple cameras, microphones, and digital input devices such as digital white boards and document cameras with an intelligent autonomous recording system to capture the entire classroom experience. Online students then interact with the faculty through our Black Board® online Content Management system. The cyber classroom allows each student to tailor their education from a virtual completely online learning experience to a completely in-class on-campus experience or to a combination of both.
The student may even customize their learning experience on the fly as your life responsibilities dictate, which will allow you to smoothly complete your degree, even if your job requires constant or extended travel. Our approach boldly redefines the traditional brick-and-mortar classroom experience and offers the student a transparent blending of the in-class and online experiences. Whether you are in Michigan or the Far East you can successfully complete the University of Michigan-Flint MS program in Computer and Information Systems!
Comments from a Student Satisfaction Survey:
“I personally feel that this room has greatly increased my potential for taking classes. As a full time employee this room allows us to attend class while working in a full time career.”
“The Cyber-Classroom is an excellent addition to the curriculum. It makes it much easier to learn”
“I think the online course option is vital for anyone who is attending school at a later stage in life … the advantage of the Cyber-Classroom is that for more advanced classes some concepts are difficult to understand purely by reading & workign through it. With the Cyber Classroom, visual is added and the old saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” is definitely true for the learning process as well.”
