Educational Administration (MPA) - Admission Requirements
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have earned a bachelor's degree (in any field of study) from an accredited institution and achieved a minimum overall undergraduate grade point average of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, although this should not deter a highly motivated student with a lower GPA from applying.
Application Process
To be considered for admission, an applicant must submit the following to the Office of Graduate Programs, 251 Thompson Library, by the application deadline:

Application for Graduate Admission (apply online or with a paper application)

Application fee (non-refundable) payable to the University of Michigan-Flint
-
Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended

Statement of Purpose describing the applicant’s reasons for pursuing the degree
-
Copy of teaching certificate
-
Three letters of recommendation from individuals knowledgeable of the applicant’s potential for advanced academic study
-
International students must submit additional documentation
Application Deadlines
The program has rolling admissions and reviews completed applications each month. To be considered for admission, an applicant must submit all application materials to the Office of Graduate Programs on or before the application deadline.
Application deadlines are as follows:

*You must apply by the early deadline to be eligible for scholarships, grants, and research assistantships.
