Dean's Graduate Student Scholarship

The University of Michigan-Flint's Dean's Graduate Student Scholarship was established for entering and current graduate students at the University of Michigan-Flint who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance. This scholarship is intended to provide financial support to assist these students to pursue graduate degrees at UM-Flint.

Applicants must be admitted to a University of Michigan-Flint graduate program and have completed all prerequisite courses. Applicants must have earned a minimum cumulative 3.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale as an undergraduate, or have a minimum cumulative 7.0 grade point average as a University of Michigan-Flint graduate student.

The Dean's Graduate Student Scholarship guidelines are available at the Office of Graduate Programs, 251 Thompson Library and the Financial Aid Office, 277 University Pavilion. Applications for the Fall and Winter semesters are available via the Office of Financial Aid website from mid-December through June 1. Please note, however, that you must submit the letter of reference directly to the Office of Financial Aid following the completion of the electronic application. All materials are due by June 1.
