Carl and Sarah Morgan Graduate Student Scholarship

The Carl and Sarah Morgan Graduate Student Scholarship was established in 1996 with a gift from the Morgan Trust to the University of Michigan-Flint. This gift is designated to provide financial assistance for University of Michigan-Flint graduate students.

Applicants must be admitted to a University of Michigan-Flint graduate program, and have completed all prerequisite courses. Applicants must have earned a minimum cumulative 3.3 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale as an undergraduate, or have a minimum cumulative 6.0 grade point average as a University of Michigan-Flint graduate student.

The Carl and Sarah Morgan Graduate Student Scholarship guidelines are available at the Office of Graduate Programs, 251 Thompson Library and the Financial Aid Office, 277 University Pavilion. You apply via the Office of Financial Aid website from mid-December through June 1. (Click the link to the UM-Flint University Sponsored Scholarship Application.) You will apply for all university scholarships with a single application. Please note, however, that you must submit the letters of reference directly to the Office of Financial Aid following the completion of the electronic application. All materials are due by June 1.
