Scanning Images
1. Login to the PC with the scanner located in 206 MSB.

2. Place the image you wish to scan in the upper right corner of the scanner.
There is no power switch on the scanner; it is always on stand-by.
4. A panel for scanning will pop up on the screen. Check the box to
Show preview and then click
Scan again.
5. A scan preview will show. Move the corners by clicking and dragging them inwards or outwards to better fit the size of your image. After you find a suitable size, click the
Accept button.

6. You will be asked if you would like to scan more than one image. Click
No if you only want to scan the current article. Click
Yes if you have more than one article, and repeat the process from 4-5.
7. HP Photosmart Premier will open. Double click on
your image to get it to move to the gray
My Selections box on the bottom of the screen.
8. Once there, left click on the
image in the gray selection box and go to
open in Adobe Photoshop 7. This will transfer your image to Adobe Photoshop, so you may save your image.
9. Go to the
File menu and choose
Save As. Choose the
drive you wish to save the image in, and give the image a
file name.
It is highly recommended that you choose JPEG Image as the file format.
