This Quicknote is for is for clearing the Java cache for correcting errors with web based Java applications such as the CMS or Banner.
The steps in this quicknote are applicable to any UNIX-like operating system such as Mac OSX or Linux.
To clear the java cache open a terminal session and copy and paste the following command:

rm -r ~/.java
