ssem2000 is an Access database that provides Banner reports. The ssem2000 database contains course information, student information, transcript analysis, and graduation information. It currently can only be accessed on campus. It allows faculty or staff to print out information such as class rosters, who is on the waiting list for a class and grade verification. Administrators can access such information as: how many students are majoring in a particular area, what students have been advised or need to be, checking on holds that are put on students, and information about graduated or graduating students. To access reports in the ssem2000 database you must have a Banner ID and password.
Please be aware that reports could take up to 20 min to run. During high volume times, such as the beginning and ends of the semesters, reports could take even longer do to the amount of reports being run acrossed campus. If you are experiencing report times of longer than 20 min (outside of high volume times) please contact the ITS HelpDesk at 810-766-6804 and a ticket will be placed. You can access ssem2000 from any wired computer on campus with Microsoft Access installed.
Microsoft Office 2003 Users:
- Inside Access click File.
- Click Open.
- Select N:\ from the dropdown next to Look in:.
- Click User.
- Click Banner Reports.
- Click ssem2000.mdb.
- Click open.
Microsoft Office 2007 Users:
- Inside Access click the Office Button.
- Click Open.
- Click Computer on the left.
- Select N:\ from the list of network drives.
- Click User.
- Click Banner Reports.
- Click ssem2000.mdb.
- Click Open.

Banner Reports may only be accessed from a networked (hard-wired to the wall), Windows-based PC. The ability to run reports is currently not available on the Mac platform.
When the login box appears please enter your
Uniqname and your Banner password provided to you. If someone elses uniqname is in the username field please delete it and replace it with your own uniqname.
