The Online Directory is campus directory for the University of Michigan including all Ann Arbor, Flint and Dearborn students, faculty, and staff. The web address for the U-M Online Directory is:
http://directory.umich.edu/.
The U-M Online Directory website, which can be found at
http://directory.umich.edu/, provides numerous features to the University of Michigan campus community. The directory provides the following information for users of the system:
- Full Name
- Alias
- Title
- Campus
- Home Address
- Campus/Home Phone Number
- Uniqname
- Email
An online directory entry is created for every new student/faculty/staff, and is constantly updated with the latest information.
Due to the fact that some of the information contained in the directory is available to anyone online, it is possible to edit your directory entry.
- Click Bind
- Login to the directory using your Uniqname and Kerberos Password
- To Edit your personal information:
- Click Uniqname, People just under the Help button
- Click Modify
- Make any changes to your directory entry as needed
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen
Along with providing a full campus directory, the online directory provides the ability to create groups for students/campus organizations. More information regarding this functionality can be found at: http://directory.umich.edu/ldapweb-bin/page?template=help
