Follow this quicknote to configure Uniprint access on Windows Vista.
Configuring Uniprint:
Click the
Start Orb
.
Click Image to Enlarge
Click
Control Panel
on the Start Menu.

Classic View
on the left column of the Control Panel (it may already be selected).

Double-click
Printers
in the Control Panel.

Click the
Add a printer
button in the Printers menu.

Click
Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer
in the Add Printer wizard.

The printer that I want isn't listed
in the Add Printer wizard.

Enter
\\uniprint.umflint.edu\main
in the
select a shared printer by name
field.
Click
Next
in the Add Printer wizard.
Click Image to Enlarge
Enter your
uniqname@umflint.edu
in the User name field of the Connect to uniprint.umflint.edu dialog box.
Enter your
LAN password
in the Password field of the Connect to uniprint.umflint.edu dialog box.
Click
OK
on the Connect to uniprint.umflint.edu dialog box.

Click
Install driver
in the Printer Driver dialog box.

Continue
when prompted by UAC.

in the Add Printer wizard.

Uniprint access is now configured.
Note: Rebooting Vista can stop Uniprint from working. To resolve the issue, delete the printer and then follow the instructions above to add it again.
