This quicknote will assist Faculty and Staff and UM-Flint with creating a link between their iPhone or BlackBerry and their Microsoft Exchange account so that in the unfortunate event that their iPhone is lost or stolen all data can be removed remotely.

Before You Begin
This will only work if you are a Faculty for Full Time Staff member here at the university.  This service is not available to students at this time.

If you own a BlackBerry and you are connected to the BES ITS does have the ability to wipe data from your phone in the event it is lost or stolen.  If you are in this situation please contact Public Safety at (810) 762-3335 and they will notify ITS and proper measures will be taken to wipe your data from your phone.

Creating a Link with your iPhone or Windows Mobile Phone and Exchange Account

If you have not already configured your iPhone with the UM-Flint exchange server please do this now using this quicknote.
