Phishing emails are a subset of SPAM emails that request passwords and other personal information from campus users. Do not respond to any Phishing email. Due to the nature of how many security problems Phishing emails can cause, ITS may request internet headers so that they can try to prevent users from responding to these emails as well as filtering these emails out of circulation so that users won't recieve them.
This quicknote will assist faculty, staff, and students of UMF in forwarding their @umflint.edu e-mail to another e-mail address. Please Note: When you choose to forward your mail out of your UMFlint e-mail account you are taking all responsibility for loss of mail in the process. Loss of mail can occasionally happen and you should decide whether you are willing to take this risk prior to forwarding your e-mail to another account.
