The following is a copy of the new password change policy for the University of Michigan-Flint. 
Please note that this policy does not effect your ability to change your own password through the password change site, SIS, or Wolverine Access.  The policy is for if you have forgotten your password and cannot reset it yourself.

Web4U is an option available from within the Student Information System (SIS) that allows a student to grant access to another person to view their student information/records at the University of Michigan-Flint.

SIS, Student Information System, provides the university with a way to securely make student information available online

The University Webguide contains web-based instructions on how to use Interwoven Teamsite Content Management System (CMS), MediaBin, and FormAssembly, which are web-based tools that university departments use to publish web pages, work with images, and create online forms.

Podcasting is defined as: providing a media file over the internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players (such as iPods) and personal computers.

Zipping is the act of packaging a set of files into a single file or archive.

A wireless LAN is one in which a mobile user can connect to a local area network (LAN) through a wireless (radio) connection.

Windows Update is the online extension of Windows that helps you to keep your computer up-to-date.

A VPN or “Virtual Private Network” is a private network that uses a public network (usually the Internet) to provide students, faculty, and staff with a secure connection to campus resources from home.

VoIP or Voice over IP allows you to make telephone calls using a computer network, over a data network like the Internet.
