Basics:

The Online Directory is a campus directory for the University of Michigan including all Ann Arbor, Flint, and Dearborn students, faculty, and staff.  The web address for the U-M Online Directory is: http://directory.umich.edu/.

Online Directory does not appear to be working well with Internet Explorer at the moment.  Firefox is the browser that Ann Arbor is suggesting for use at the moment.

Features:

The U-M Online Directory website, which can be found at http://directory.umich.edu/, provides numerous features to the University of Michigan campus community.  The directory provides the following information for users of the system:

• Full Name
• Alias
• Title
• Campus
• Home Address
• Campus/Home Phone Number
• Uniqname
• Email

An online directory entry is created for every new student/faculty/staff, and is constantly updated with the latest information.

Modifying Entry Information:

Due to the fact that some of the information contained in the directory is available to anyone online, it is possible to edit your directory entry.

• Click Log In
  
• Login to the directory using your Uniqname and Kerberos Password
  
• To Edit your personal information:
  • Click My Profile
  • Click Edit
  • Make any changes to your directory entry as needed
  • Click Save Changes at the bottom of each block
