Sharing Microsoft Outlook Calendar (2010/ 2013)

Basics: 

This quick note is here for the benefit of both the faculty and staff members on campus. The quicknote will provide step-by–step instructions on how to share Microsoft Outlook Calendars in both Office 2010 and Office 2013. 

How to Share your Calendar in Office 2010

  1. Click on the Calendar option located on the left panel of Outlook.
  2. Select Share Calendar option at the top of the screen.
  3. In the “To” field; type in the person(s) and/or group that you would like to share the calendar with.
  4. There will be an option for you to allow the user(s) to see a full detail calendar, limited details, or availability. Select the permission level you would like them to have.
  5. There will also be an option to request permission to view their calendar. Choose if you would like to request permission to their calendar or not.

  1. Click Calendar
  2. Click Share Calendar in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  3. In the “To” field; type in the person(s) and/or group that you would like to share the calendar with.
  4. There will be an option for you to allow the user(s) to see a full detail calendar, limited details, or availability. Select the permission level you would like them to have.
  5. There will also be an option to request permission to view their calendar. Choose if you would like to request permission to their calendar or not.
