A House in Mourning
Whaley Historic House Museum explores death and mourning in the nineteenth century all month long.
Join Professor Thomas Henthorn, Wednesday October 19, 16, 30 at 8:00 pm for candlelight tours of the Whaley House decked out in mourning. Visitors will experience the different ways Americans coped with death through the rituals of mourning in the nineteenth century. Admission is $5.
