University of Michigan-Flint

Hello! My name is Miri Weidner, and I am a senior at University of Michigan-Flint majoring in Health Care Administration. I was elected as the Honors Student Council president for 2010-2011.

In the past year, I have arranged events such as the bake sale in November 2010, the trip to the Detroit Institute of Art in May 2011, and the Sale of Randomosities in October 2010. In my pastime, I enjoy volunteering in my community and around campus, at events such as Earth Day 2011 and serving as a Team Leader at the trips to Stratford. I have been a participant for three years at the Walk for Breast Cancer held here in Flint; 2007, 2009, 2010.

Hello! My name is Jennifer Ross. I am senior at the University of Michigan - Flint earning two degrees in Honors English and History and two minors in Spanish and Creative Writing. I am currently the Vice President of Honors Student Council, and a member of the Phi Alpha Theta, Sigma Tau Delta, and Golden Key International Honor Societies. After I graduate, I plan to attend graduate school in English at the University of Michigan - Flint as well as enroll in undergraduate studies in Biology and Dance.

Hello, I’m Alison Martin. I am currently a junior and majoring in Health Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy. I serve as secretary for both the Honors Student Council and Pre-Physical Therapy Club! I hope to be accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program here at University of Michigan-Flint. As such, I spend my free time volunteering at different clinics and hospitals including Hurley Medical Center.

Hi! I’m Brittany Henneberry, and I’m a junior majoring in English, specialization in writing, and possibly in Art. As the title says, I’m  the treasurer this year.  I’m also a member of Sigma Tau Delta, I’m a manuscript reader for the campus literary magazine, Qua, and I work in U of M-Flint’s Accounting Department. I plan to go to graduate school and then become an editor at a publishing company like Knopf or Harper-Collins. Once I reach old age I plan to become an old cat lady. I look forward to meeting everyone and having an awesome year!
