Housing Application, 2009-2010
If you have an interest in Housing, please complete this application by clicking on the "To Apply On-Line Click Here" button at the bottom of this page. You will need to use Internet Explorer to apply on-line. If you are unable to apply on-line please contact us at 810-237-6571 to request that a hard copy be mailed to you.
You are required to submit a $50 Housing deposit. The Housing deposit is automatically credited toward the cost of your room and board. If you decide not to live in Housing, this fee is nonrefundable. Your application is not valid until your housing deposit is received. Upon receipt of your application and housing deposit, we will contact you regarding the next steps in the process.
HOUSING DEPOSIT PAYMENT PROCESS
●If you have been admitted to UM-Flint, you may pay your housing deposit online through your Student Information System account.
●If you have not been admitted yet, you may send us a check or money order to the address listed below. The Housing deposit is automatically credited toward the cost of your room and board.
●International students who have not been admitted should contact our Student Account Office at (810) 762-3490 to arrange for payment of your housing deposit.
●Any applicant may mail their housing deposit to the address listed below.

HOUSING RATES (Per Occupant) – ROOM AND BOARD
Academic Year: September 2, 2009 - April 28, 2010*
● Single Suite 4 person: 4 single bedrooms with 2 bathrooms - $7,993
● Double Suite: 2 double bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (bedroom is shared with one other person) - $6,874
*The residence hall closes for semester break at 12:00 Noon on December 22, 2009 and will reopen at 8:00 AM on January 5, 2010.
MEAL PLAN INFORMATION
Mandatory Meal Plan Rates (rates are subject to change):
● Freshman/Sophomores are required to participate in the meal plan at a rate of $2,600 per academic year.
● Junior/Seniors are required to participate in the meal plan at a rate of $800.00 per academic year.
● Graduate Students are NOT required to participate in a meal plan; however, voluntary meal plan options are available through Dining Services. Voluntary meal plan rates may be viewed at Dining Services. The dining center is located in the University Center (UCEN) located close to the residence hall. You can use your meal plan at this location. Your meal plan is a debit meal plan account that is encoded on your Mcard. Enjoy the convenience of dining on campus and saving money doing it!
