Want to live on campus?  Admitted students may apply for housing by clicking on "Apply Now".

If you have not been admitted and wish to apply for housing, please contact the Housing & Residential Life Office at 810-237-6571.

You are required to submit a $100 Housing deposit.  The Housing deposit is automatically credited toward the cost of your room and board.  If you decide not to live in Housing, this fee is nonrefundable.  Your application is not valid until your housing deposit is received.  Upon receipt of your application and housing deposit, we will contact you regarding the next steps in the process. 

HOUSING DEPOSIT PAYMENT PROCESS 

●If you have been admitted to UM-Flint, you may pay your housing deposit online through your Student Information System account.

●If you have not been admitted yet, you may send us a check or money order to the address listed below. The Housing deposit is automatically credited toward the cost of your room and board.

●International students who have not been admitted should contact our Student Account Office at (810) 762-3490 to arrange for payment of your housing deposit.

●Any applicant may mail their housing deposit to the address listed below.

HOUSING RATES* (Per Occupant) – ROOM AND BOARD

Academic Year: September 1, 2010 - April 28, 2011  

●    Single Suite 4 person: 4 single bedrooms with 2 bathrooms - $8,233

●    Double Suite: 2 double bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (bedroom is shared with one other person) - $7,080

●    Single Suite 2 person: 2 single bedrooms with 1 bathroom - $8,442

 NOTE: The residence hall closes for semester break December 21, 2010 - January 4, 2011.

IMPORTANT DATES

Priority to live in First Street Residence Hall will be given to first-year student who apply prior to February 1st.  All students are welcome to apply!

CARS ON CAMPUS

UM-Flint residential students are welcome to bring their cars to campus, and parking is free!

MEAL PLAN INFORMATION

The dining center is located in the University Center; close to the residence hall.  Enjoy the convenience of dining on campus and save money doing it!  As part of the contract and included in the cost of room and board, students have $1339/semester to use in any of the dining areas.  Students who want more spending power can upgrade their plans.  For more information, visit our Dining Services web site at www.umflint.edu/DiningServices.
