The best way to decide if a school really fits your needs is to attend an event, tour its campus and facilities, and talk with current students, faculty, and staff members. We have a variety of ways for you to decide if UM-Flint is the right college for you, including:


Visit our campus and see what it's like to be a college student at UM-Flint in one of the most vibrant college towns anywhere. These Wednesday overnight visits are for high school students currently attending 10th-12th grades. The visit is provided at no cost to the student. Your visit will include a tour of the campus. You will stay overnight in a current student's room at our residence hall and enjoy one of many special activities designed to give you a true college experience.  To register for the overnight program visit:


The Face-to-Face program provides you an opportunity to sit in on a University of Michigan-Flint class to explore experiential learning in a small class setting. You can select the program of your interest.

To arrange your class visit, follow these steps:

  1. Review the list of classes offered for the current semester.
  2. Select the class of the course you would like to visit. Make a note of the course name and number, as well as the date and time of the class you'd like to attend.
  3. Contact the Office of Admissions at to schedule your visit.

Have a couple of choices in mind (1st, 2nd, 3rd choice).

A confirmation notice will be sent to you prior to any finalized visit.


Take a tour led by current students of campus facilities, meet with an Admissions Counselor, and talk with faculty. To arrange a tour, click "Tours" or contact the Office of Admissions. 

To register for a campus tour, please select a date and time for your tour below. You'll be asked to provide contact information to be used in customizing your tour and future communications about admissions deadlines and events. If you need additional tour date options, please contact the office of admissions at (810) 762-3300 to see if special accommodations can be made.

The office of admissions is located in the University Pavilion at the corner of Saginaw Street and Kearsley Street in downtown Flint. For directions to campus, parking and facilities, visit our campus map.  We advise parking in the City/Public Parking lot, located on the corner of E. Kearsley and Saginaw Streets, across the street from the Pavilion.  We will be happy to validate your parking ticket.

Spring Preview

Visit our campus this spring!  Flint is home to over 34,000 college students!  Come see why UM-Flint is the choice for many and should be on your list of colleges to consider.  Your day will include a tour of the campus and downtown, led by a current UM-Flint student. You will hear about unique experiences like participating in research or learning in the community and have an opportunity to talk with faculty about classes and majors.  Lunch is included.

Mott2UM-Flint Information Sessions 

Learn more about our Concurrent Enrollment Program with Mott Community College!

With a single admissions application, students can take advantage of the resources and course selection at the University of Michigan-Flint and Mott Community College. The Mott2UM-Flint concurrent enrollment program offers you the opportunity to take courses at both institutions at the same time, meaning tuition savings and maximum flexibility on the path to a Michigan bachelor's degree.

Registration is from 5-5:30pm
