UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN BOARD OF REGENTS APPROVED 2008 HOUSING RATES FOR NEW UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN-FLINT RESIDENCE HALL
The University of Michigan Board of Regents unanimously approved room and board rates for the first residence hall on the University of Michigan-Flint campus. The rates are competitive with other public universities in Michigan.
Housing Rates (per occupant) – Room and Board:
Academic Year: August 24, 2008 - April 30, 2009*

Single Suite, 4 person: 4 single bedrooms with 2 bathrooms - $7,900

Double Suite: 2 double bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (bedroom is shared with one other person) - $6,800

Single Suite, 2 person: 2 single bedrooms with 1 bathroom - $7,900
Calendar Year: August 24, 2008 - August 20, 2009*

Single Suite, 4 person: 4 single bedrooms with 2 bathrooms - $11,850

* The residence hall closes for semester break December 18, 2008 - January 4, 2009
The first University of Michigan-Flint residence hall is under construction, and is scheduled to open in August 2008. Located at the corner of Chavez and First streets in Downtown Flint, the 310 bed facility offers suite-style units.
