Phase 1 of UM-Flint Student Housing:
- The site comprises approximately 5.25 acres
- The site is situated on the southern edge of campus,
adjacent to First Street and Willson Park - The residence hall will be 101,163 gross square feet
- It will accommodate 310 beds
- Living-learning spaces on the first floor
- 2- and 4-bedroom suite, including handicapped-accessible units
- All units will contain 1 or 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a living room
- The new residence hall will feature a 24/7 staffed entry way,
with key cards required for entrance into the building - Construction is scheduled to be completed summer 2008
