If you want to be able to cast a ballot this fall, you will need to be a registered voter by October 4, 2008 (30 days in advance of the election) and must be at least 18 years of age. You will have to visit their city clerk, township clerk, county clerk or any Secretary of State's office in Michigan to register.
For many students, it will probably be your first election and you will have to vote in person at your polling booth. Your voter registration form and Michigan driver’s license must have the same address.
