2008 Frances Willson Thompson Critical Issues Forum

"For more than twenty years, the Frances Willson Thompson Critical Issues Forum has brought a diverse and enlightened group of distinguished speakers to the campus of the Univeristy of Michigan-Flint.  We continue this fine tradition with four leading experts who will engage our community in a meaningful dialogue on the challenges we face.  Our speakers will touch on the timely topics of global terrorism, stem cell research, documenting history and the diverse political spectrum of our country."

"The University of Michigan-Flint is forever grateful to Frances Willson Thompson who established the Critical Issues Forum.  The generosity of the Thompson family is evident throughout our campus and the community in the form of scholarships, programs and places.  We are proud to honor our great benefactor through this signature annual event."
