Monday Movie Nights with Dessert and Dialogue in the ICC

LOVING

The story of Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple, whose challenge of their anti-miscegenation arrest for their marriage in Virginia led to a legal battle that would end at the US Supreme Court.


A BETTER LIFE
Monday, March 20th     6:00 PM – 9:00 PM     Kiva, UCEN *

A gardener in East L.A. struggles to keep his son away from gangs and immigration agents while trying to give his son the opportunities he never had.


THE KITE RUNNER
Monday, April 3rd     6:00 PM – 9:00 PM     Michigan Rooms A&B, UCEN *

After spending years in California, Amir returns to his homeland in Afghanistan to help his old friend Hassan, whose son is in trouble.  


    * Movies will be shown from 6 PM - 8 PM , Dessert and Dialogue will take place in the ICC, 115 UCEN from 8 PM - 9 PM.  Dialogues will be facilitated by UM-Flint faculty.
